CASETA INSTALLS TOLL EQUIPMENT TEST SITE FOR CENTRAL TEXAS REGIONAL MOBILITY AUTHORITY (CTRMA)

CASETA TECHNOLOGIES, INC., February 16, 2006 - Caseta engineers and technicians have completed work on a toll system test site in Austin, TX. The purpose of the toll system installation is to test various toll lane components and technologies.

Caseta developed its first Electronic Toll Collection system over 10 years ago for MTA Bridges & Tunnels in New York. Since its first installation Caseta has worked dilligently to upgrade and enhance its technology, becoming a leader in the industry.

"We are constantly working to improve and evolve our technology through our internal R&D as well as through collaboration with third-party vendors. I have been working in the toll industry for many years. With so many toll projects being contemplated around the country, I am extremely excited about the opportunities for our company to grow." said Glenn Deitiker, President & CTO of Caseta.

The toll system test will run for nine months. Toll tag readers and sensors will actively read toll tags and sticker tags from various vehicles as they pass by the test equipment which was installed under a bridge at Braker Lane and Loop 1 in north Austin.

"This allows us to test the tags and the equipment in a real environment with other cars around those vehicles that have the TxTags in them," said Steve Pustelnyk, Director of Communications for the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority.

Installation of the test equipment was completed right on schedule according to Dusty Deitiker, Field Operations Manager for Caseta. "Thanks to the tremendous support of TxDOT and the Mobility Authority, and to a wonderful group of subcontractors, the test lane installation was completed in less than three weeks. This was by far the smoothest installation I have been a part of."
